Established in 1890 Stromness Golf Club can be found at the southern entrance to harbour town and offers spectacular views not only of the town but also across to the islands of Hoy and Greamsay as well as the world famous Scapa Flow (a natural harbour used by the British Navy in both World Wars).

Although short in length (just over 4800 yds) this seaside parkland golf course with it’s tight and tricky layout can prove a tough test even on a nice day!

Clubhouse Hire

The Golf Club is also available for hire for all events; birthdays, weddings, wakes, anniversaries etc.

With parking, a lift and kitchen facilities, this makes a great venue for any occasion.

There is a £100 charge for hiring the venue. There will be an additional £50 charge for the use of the kitchen facilities.
